It's also true that when you exercise at a lower intensity, fat becomes the primary fuel because your body has more time to mobilize it. But what most people - including a lot of fitness coaches - don't understand is that overall fat loss isn’t about which specific fuel you use during a workout -- it’s about total calories burned for the day as a whole.
