You’re going to miss workouts, eat things you probably shouldn’t, and fall short in certain areas. But instead of just moving on to avoid the guilt or shame, taking the time to process what happened and strategize how you can keep it from happening again is a major skill that most people miss. So are you learning from your failures? Or are you repeating them over and over? Remember, Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. So ‘trying harder’ next time isn’t a viable strategy. 3️⃣ Positive Self Talk - Stop talking trash to yourself! On this journey you can either be your biggest critic or your biggest motivator. One is going to leave you frustrated and feeling helpless, and one is going to empower you to continue making better decisions. Changing that internal dialogue when you win, when you lose, or anywhere in between is crucial to making the best decisions.
