The difference being, instead of using sugar, you are using fats...healthy fats. The point of that, it's really good if you are on some kind of low-carb diet. The last thing you want to do is fill up your coffee with a lot of sugar. A lot of people will also use Bulletproof Coffee to replace their breakfast. Now, I will be honest, I still eat my breakfast.
