If you're not losing weight on semaglutide, several underlying factors could be at play. First and foremost, inflammation is a significant factor that often flies under the radar. Chronic inflammation messes with your metabolism, leading to insulin resistance, which hinders weight loss by making it harder for your body to regulate blood sugar and control cravings. This can cause leptin resistance, too, making it difficult for your brain to recognize when you're full.
