Imagínate que vía un trámite administrativo -no judicial- alguien pudiese decir que se ve afectado por un enlace que publicó el diario La República en su sitio web, o vos en tu blog, y por esa razón el sitio en cuestión quedara inaccesible. Bueno, ese sería el gusto de todo el Perú tomando SOPA. Si no es la ley SOPA, ¿qué medidas se debería tomar en Internet, ya que, como se sabe, es el soporte de la piratería? No es posible detener la piratería. Los hackers y los usuarios van muchísimo más rápido y crean plataformas participativas y de intercambio de contenidos que no hay legislación que pueda seguirles el ritmo. No hay que cambiar verticalmente a Internet. Eso es imposible. Hay que reiventar el negocio de la música. Eso sí es posible. Hoy, Google y Wikipedia protestaron ante la iniciativa... ¿Crees que se extienda la medida? Es probable. La gente está informándose y entendiendo que una ley así está hecha a medida de un puñado de empresas, y no de la democracia, ni de la innovación, ni mucho menos de la libertad de expresión ni de la libre circulación del conocimiento. Los periodistas también están entendiendo que afectaría a su profesión dramáticamente. ¿Es momento de poder fiscalizar con los contenidos en Internet? Con esa premisa, ¿quién los fiscalizaría? ¿Un grupo de notables jurados de la cultura designados por ley? Jurídicamente es posible. Ahora tecnológica, social, cultural y comercialmente, es imposible.
