I had dabbled in all different types of diets my entire life - I was vegetarian for a year, vegan for six months, and in ketosis for extended periods of time and everything in between! Nothing was ever stable for me, but I worked hard and I was able to maintain some form of a healthy weight…that is until I had two babies After that, nothing seemed to recover no matter what I did so I gave it one last really good try with heavy weightlifting for a couple years consistently and religiously, I even tried to add calories to boost my metabolism and then cutting calories for six months and hardly anything changed, other than my mood I was grumpy and tired a lot, and I was definitely not as present as I wanted to be 👉 now to get into the physical feelings of it aside from the mentality - 👇 - I feel hungry in the mornings and if I do, I know I’m doing this GLP-1 thing right - I eat less at night because I’m pretty much full by about 4 PM - I have energy to exercise and energy to spend time with my family - I did experience very mild nausea only the day after my injections as I was increasing my dose - now that I’m decreasing my dose. I don’t get any nausea. - mild headaches if I don’t hydrate - constipation can be par for the course so take Colace, exercise, walk and everything is just fine for me P.s there’s one more feeling I forgot to mention - Confidence, in myself and in my body. It’s something I’ve had a hard relationship throughout the years, especially after Miscarrying two babies before getting pregnant with my oldest. Sometimes I thought my body was betraying me.
